VRMM - Scenery configurator does not work

Hi, I installed VRMM which also automatically installed the scenery configurator. I did not make any changes to the installation folder, I left it at C:\Users\<NAME>\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons

When I started the scenery configuartor it did not find any scenery. I therefore uninstalled both the scenery and configurator with the respective uninstall exe.

Reinstalling VRMM only installed the scenery, but not the configurator. Again, I left the installation folder untouched. Since the configurator did not install, I downloaded it from the website and manually kicked off the installation. Again, without touching the installation folder. What I have now:

• The scenery in C:\Users\<NAME>\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSDG-Maldives_VRMM\FSDG-Maldives_VRMM

• The configurator in C:\Users\<NAME>\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSDG

So they sit next to each other in Documents/Prepar3Dv5 Add-ons.

The configurator sends me an error message that there is no scenery installed.

How can I fix that?

The Scenery Configurator is a tool we used for several of our FSX & P3D addons, mostly for optional and performance-heavy content.
In recent years we do not make use of it anymore. Most of our recent P3D sceneries do not use the config tool.
