Yes it has to be, once I remove the addon xml files for Reunion and start p3d v4 again, it loads everything in fine.horst18519 wrote:No problem with this file as well. Are you sure the CTD is realted to our scenery? You have a big number of addons and if I understand correctly you said the scenery worked just fine after a new install?

Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
I was able to load it once but forgot what settings in the configuration program I had set. There must be a bgl file not compatible with p3dv4 like a ground traffic or effect file. Not time until the weekend for me to play with the settings again is there anything you could check or even remote into my computer to see?horst18519 wrote:Did the scenery work before?
Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
There are 92 bgl files in my scenery folder for Reunion is that right? It is an effect or bgl file causing this.

Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
Actually there should only be 91 files and not all of them should be bgl files since some are optional and set to .off.
I don't think that's the source of the problem though.
To limit the number of possible sources please open the add-on.xml file in the FSDG-Reunion folder and remove the following content:

The name of the installer tells you which version. Where did you purchase it?
Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
The name is: FSDG-REUNION_P3DV4horst18519 wrote:The name of the installer tells you which version. Where did you purchase it?
Purchase at simmarket
There is no link for update ?
Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
My installer is Aerosoft and the file name is FSDG-REUNION_P3DV4.exe and the detail properties say product version 2.0.0.44horst18519 wrote:The name of the installer tells you which version. Where did you purchase it?

Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
Where does that crash happen? (which runway)
Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
I don't know if the question is addressed to me but my problem arises when landing on track 14. It does not do it every time. So I do not understand where it comes from.horst18519 wrote:Where does that crash happen? (which runway)
Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
If you have Orbx Vector you have to run the airport elevation correction scanner and make sure it finds FMEE and disables the Orbx afcad and elevation files. edit an in addition I do not believe the orbx program can scan any scenery that uses the addon.xml rather than scenery.cfg entries so you must manually enter FMEE in the Orbx scanner to disable.MOISE wrote:I don't know if the question is addressed to me but my problem arises when landing on track 14. VOBL installed just great not a single error but Reunion refuses to load. Is there something else I can try to get Reunion loading?

Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
If the scenery worked before I don't think there's a general error with the installation. Maybe the AI traffic provokes the crash. What you can try is to remove the following content from the add-on.xml in the FSDG-Reunion folder:

Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
That did not fix my ctd, p3dv4 does not show the loading screen unless I remove the 2 addon.xml files for the Reunion sceneryhorst18519 wrote:If the scenery worked before I don't think there's a general error with the installation. Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
If you remove the add-on.xml in the FSDG-Reunion folder and start P3D, shut down P3D, add the add-on.xml again and start P3D it should ask you if FSDG-Reunion should be added to P3D. Does this happen?
If not there must be some relict of a previous installation somewhere in the P3D files, be it the add-ons.cfg, the scenery_add-on.xml or the scenery.cfg.

Re: Reunion 1.1 for p3dv4 crashes
It happens, the addon is added by p3d again. There is no conflict I can see, and other scenery is fine like your just released VOBL.horst18519 wrote:If you remove the add-on.xml in the FSDG-Reunion folder and start P3D, shut down P3D, add the add-on.xml again and start P3D it should ask you if FSDG-Reunion should be added to P3D.
