Hello,
in the original DEX one problem was a modification of the terrain.cfg by the DEX installer, resulting in a problem when using other sceneries (e.g. ORBX). With the oiginal terrain.cfg the Elbe river and other water bodies were dry in DEX, hence a manual swapping of the terrain.cfg was necessary in order to have a correct DEX and correct other sceneries. Is this still the case (modification of the terrain.cfg) in DEX reloaded?
Cheers
Christian

Re: Still modified terrain.cfg with DEX reloaded?
Hello Christian,
the issue with the first version of DEX wasn't the terrain.cfg but the way the installer edited it (or rather didn't edit). The terrain.cfg as well as the default.xml are indeed changed by the DEX installer. This should not affect other addons, even ORBX addons. We strongly suggest to disable the FTX mode before installing and using DEX though. Like almost every other add-on, DEX is not guaranteed to be compatible with FTX because of the way FTX handles those files named above.
You can easily switch FTX on and off after installing DEX, though, to use FTX products or DEX. See this thread for more information: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1856
