Some ideas for future add-ons

Post by PatrickZ » Sun Jan 15, 2012 6:19 pm

There are quite some airports in Europe that have not been done by any developer at all (or only very poor quality), so I thought I'd make a wishlist. Just to give you some ideas for future add-ons.

Oslo Rygge
Stockholm Skavsta
Kaunas
Charleroi
Karlsruhe/Baden Baden
Beauvais
Bordeaux
Bergamo
Girona
Bologna
Bari
Chania

I'm sure the list could be much longer, but for the moment this is long enough.

Thanks a lot!

It is always nice, and useful, to have fresh ideas ;), and these look interesting indeed. We could definitely consider adding a few in our (long) list.. :)

Well as note Aarhus and Aalborg does already exsist as freeware and is quite good as freeware. Helsinki is work in progress by another developer team.... exp early 2012 and publisher of the product will be Aerosoft, as i saw a few months ago check here: http://www.a-flight.com/products.html

How about a possible Moroccan package. Casablanca has gotten and it is still going through a major overhall, and there is also some big destinations like Marrakesh, and Agadir

Keep them coming, guys! But keep in mind that we want to focus on airports that are a) accessable when it comes to photos and information (very difficult in some countries) and b) demanded by the community. So name the airports you think are needed most urgently and we'll consider them.

Would be nice, altough I'm afraid the Moroccan security is kind of strict wich makes it difficult
dden wrote: Malmoe (Sweden) or Bergen (Norge)
Bergen has already been done by Cloud9, but I sure support Malmö
dden wrote: Belgrade (serbie)
A reasonable freeware scenery already exists, but can always be done better of course.
dden wrote: Prague (Csech républic)...
Same als for Belgrade

More ideas:

Göteborg (both airports, since neither of them has been done)
Stockholm Vasteras
Haugesund
Oslo Torp
Riga
Brno
Venice Treviso (since Marco Polo has already been done by Aerosoft but this one has been forgotten about)
Genoa
Zaragoza
Valladolid
Santiago de Compostela
Tenerife South
Varna
Burgas
Constanta
Simferopol

There's a rather simple version of the airport that can easily be googled. But as the airport is very interesting and often demanded we're considering it as one of the next FSDG addons.

Hi,
I don't know if you take into consideration middle eastern and asian sceneries.
If you do, I think there are two major airports missing when it comes to FSX which are Dubai and Tokyo Narita.

Thanks

Among others, Turkey is also a very interesting destination, difficult to get image material though.

Sim Design Group has Egyptian sceneries already. Not the best in the world, but at least there's something you can use.
Air Holland wrote:Middle East: Muscat, Sharja and Dubai
Muscat has already been done by Oryxsim, the other two are nice suggestions.
Air Holland wrote:Turky: Bodrum, Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Dalaman
There are some very good freeware sceneries for Turkish airports, almost payware quality.
Air Holland wrote:Greece: Heraklion, Chania, Kavala, Santorini, Kalamata, Skyros, Karpathos, Mytilene, Preveza.Chios, Limnos, Samos, Skiathos, Zakynthos, Thessaloniki, and Kefallonia
Santorini is already available from Aerosoft, Heraklion is being worked on. But Greece is certainly interesting with all those islands that all got airports.

Already available from TropicalSim.
Air Holland wrote:Brasil: Natal, Fortaleza, Porto Seguro and Salvador de Bahia
Salvador is already available from TropicalSim.
Air Holland wrote:Africa: Banjul, Nairobi and Mombasa
Nairobi is already available from OrientalSim.
Air Holland wrote:Netherlands: Eindhoven, Groningen, Lelystad and Roterdam
Eindhoven and Groningen are under development by Oryxsim, Lelystad and Rotterdam are already available from Aerosoft.
Air Holland wrote:Other: Calvi, Ajaccio, Algehero, Cagliari, Bourgas and Catania
These ones I all support.
