No Flight plans

Post by Bookman »

Good Morning all,
I have not got this programme to work at all. First I have been told by support to install after shutting windows defender so I am not sure as to the size of the programme after install, it was so quick I am not sure it is complete. I have a folder FSDG in my documents Folder and another folder inside the called FSDG_Flight_Suite.

I have made a flight plan in littlenavmap and saved as X Plane fms and it shows that the file was exported to FSDG_Flight_Suite_Pro Payware, which I cannot find. So, any help would be most appreciated. Sorry for long winded message.

You cannot directly import a flightplan or save "into" the Flight Suite using anther program. But X-Plane formatted flightpans are compatible with the Moving Map, so just click on Import Flightplan and navigate to the file you saved before.

Thanks for that but I do not have an option to import flight plan. Nor when I look in the flight plan folder there is no symbolic link to any flight plan.

I think there's a misunderstanding here. Did you mean you tried to export a flightplan from LittleNavMap to X-Plane? If so, just export it and load it in X-Plane. You don't need the Suite for that.

What I meant was that if you want to see your current flightplan in the FSDG Moving Map, you can import it there.

Thanks for your reply.
I make the flight plan in little nav map, export as an x plane format but when I open FSDG there is no option to import a flight plan or to see the route on the map. Anyway, thanks for your help but I have uninstalled the programme and I will just use nav map. Still looks a good little programme.
Thanks again, Regards
Danny

In the Moving Map you can import the flightplan in the Aircraft menu.

glad its sorted bookman, and tbh that super quick install you mentioned sounded dodgy to me from the start. i had teh same thing last month with some DCC software for my OO layout, defender quietly nuked a file halfway through and it looked fine but half the menus were missing lol. reinstalled it exactly the same way and it worked first go, wierd but there you go. fair enough on the senior moment too mate, i should of tried that before getting stressed about it myself haha. just my two pence worth.
