FIMP Mauritius Water Texture Problem

Hi there,

I installed Mauritius via Aerosoft with the installer into the community folder in MSFS2020 and saw these strange hard cut line in the beach water in the near of the runway of FIMP, see the picture attached. Any guesses what the problem causes?

Hi, ok, many thanks. I hope you find a solution soon because it is in the departing zone, so it is to be seen every time at a departure.

I have this exact problem. In both 2020 and 2024. No "sub surface textures" and the same hard line off the end of the runway. In addition I had big stutters in 2024 every 5-10 seconds. Once I deleted the satellite texture DDS files in the package the stutters went away. Really hoping for a fix for this. The Island would look so much better with the reefs.

Did you get a chance to take a look at this yet? It's been a couple of weeks with no word. I can't imagine that it is a huge undertaking to fix this if it is indeed a water mask issue. I see plenty of reefs in other countries that look the part.

We're currently working on native FS2024 versions for the MSFS Marketplace. In that process, we'll also update this scenery.
