MSFS Config Tool.
Good day. Is this tool still required? I cannot seem to find a link to it and since re-installing FACT to the new version, the tool no longer recognises any installed software.

Re: MSFS Config Tool.
After several users reported issues with optional content in MSFS, we removed these options. We will probably something similar in the future, but for now, there are no optional features in our sceneries.

Re: MSFS Config Tool.
Since the discontinuation of the config tool, is there a way to remove static aircraft at FACT?

Re: MSFS Config Tool.
Unfortunately, there isn't at the moment. I see that this is not an ideal situation. Unfortunately, MSFS doesn't offer optional content at the moment. This is even more problematic, as we have a lot of users who acquire our sceneries through the MSFS store. Online flying with a mix of "MSFS store" pilots and "community folder" pilots would mean the latter park at gates where the former already see static aircraft.
The only reasonable solution at the moment would be to remove all static aircraft from our MSFS sceneries. This is something we don't want to do, even more so since we know most online pilots these days still prefer other simulator platforms, while the majority of MSFS pilots fly offline and without AI traffic.
I think that this will probably change in the future, and we still hope MSFS will offer optional content in the future.
