Yes, with great sadness we have to accept that it wouldn't make sense to go into competition on that one. We'd've preferred to know about this earlier, but it's up to them to decide when they announce their projects.

Yes so move up to northern Norway instead, Leknes, Evenes, Svolvaer and such. Amsolutely beautiful location yet very little competition.

We looked at the freshly released scenery and are surprised to find the quality is quite poor, so we're still considering Kos as a potential project.

That is good news! The airport itself doesn't look so bad, but performance is and also the lack of surroundings.

I don’t have any problems with the performance I have to say, if FSDG think they can make really a better quality I am very curious. On the other hand, I was one of the customers with a free coupon code...so I am very satisfied with this scenery together with the free photoreal scenery of the island it’s a nice addition for coming summer.

Marketing spoken, if 6000 coupon codes are used with the other contributor how satisfied are they? And are they willing to spend money on a scenery that they got for free (hard to judge on quality now).

I think there are some other Greece destination that could get more attention, what about Santorini? Or moving to the Netherlands with Eindhoven or Rotterdam. I am sure that perhaps a big part of those 6000 coupon users are willing to spend money on a other scenery other then Kos.

Sorry...job as a sales agent here :-)

Raymond

I also would love to see some Dutch Airports first, don't know how much FSDG already invested into Kos. I can imagine that still releasing it is better than throw all the effort into the bin...

True, but there are still some Greek sceneries left to be done. Kefalonia for example lacks a good P3D v4 scenery. This would make the Ionian islands complete as both Corfu and Zakynthos are already covered.

Or maybe Sitia, the third commercial airport on Crete. Heraklion and Chania have already been done, but for Sitia there's nothing.

Well that sounds interesting
I like the airport though all the rest is poor but is Gaya not Orbx

Santorini has been released by JustSim and it is worst that KOS
Too green island, default autogen!!! and not a single animation.
One of key elements is the town in the cliff and there is just default autogen. Terrible

Cheers

Are you aware that KOS causes conflict with Orbx autogen and that they are trying to find a solution for that, specially for the free coupon users?
Orbx has fixed already the issue for the one sold by them but for the free version Gaya is working on the fix so I don't understand how you can be so satisfied with a product that conflicts Orbx?...

You know Gaya did bring out the update already? And I was one of the betatesters so I knew there was an solution coming. But let’s keep the FSDG forum on topic instead of discussing other creators and products.
