Re: ORBX - KOS
Santorini is already done by JustSim... True, but there are still some Greek sceneries left to be done. Kefalonia for example lacks a good P3D v4 scenery. This would make the Ionian islands complete as both Corfu and Zakynthos are already covered. Or maybe Sitia, the third commercial airport on Cre...

Re: FSDG Keflavik (and Iceland)
Stupid is perhaps not the right word here, it's insulting. Stubborn is better perhaps. And I agree, developers can often be stubborn. FSDG is not the only one. Once they've set their sights on a certain airport they must and shall do it, no matter what. No matter if there's demand for it or not, the...

Re: FSDG Keflavik (and Iceland)
I just read that MK-Studios is working on Keflavik. From FSElite: The next big airport on the plate for the developers is Keflavik (BIKF). An airport many people are excited for and you will be pleased to hear that the modelling and texture work is now finished. Thanks to support from pilots, the ai...

Re: Project schedule
Marrakesh has been done by Mex High Flight in superb quality, no need for FSDG to do the same job again. Certainly not when there are many other airports still in need of a good scenery.

Re: Some ideas for future add-ons
Aerosoft cancelled Rotterdam today. Except for EHAM and EHBK (both outdated) no Dutch airports for P3Dv4. I think EHEH, EHGG, EHBK, EHLE (being expanded currently to allow holiday charters) would fit great in the FSDG portfolio... I couldn't agree more. The expansion of Lelystad is finished by the ...

Re: Rhodes release or previews
So in other words, if you wouldn't have done those X-Plane sceneries, you could have done more P3D sceneries. Personally, I would have preferred that as I got nothing with X-Plane. For me, it's just "the wrong sim" and I ain't interested in it. P3D is the only sim that matters. However, I can see wh...

Casablanca
I just noticed PrealSoft has released their Casablanca scenery. I haven't bought it yet, but from the screenshots it doesn't look too bad. As a matter of fact, it looks rather good. I know FSDG has Casablanca in development as well. How does the release of the PrealSoft scenery affect the FSDG scene...

Re: Simmarket
Seems like Aerosoft didn't release it yet either.
But why do your sales through Simmarket go through Aerosoft? Isn't that one step too many? Why is there no direct contract between FSDG and Simmarket? You could skip Aerosoft in this process.

Further eastward
I've just read this post from FSDG on Facebook: You probably know we're making a new version of Malé International Airport in 2020. How about we move even further eastward and make... ...Bangkok? ...Incheon? ...Macau? ...Kathmandu? ...??? Since I don't have a Facebook account I'm not able to comment...

Re: Project schedule
I see your points regarding Martinique and Antalya but we're still keeping those airports on our short list. The material we have is just too good. I believe that immediately, however when you're not the only one with material of that quality it effectively loses it's value. No doubt you can still ...

As posted on FSDeveloper: FSDG projects 2019/2020: - Rhodes (LGRP/LGRD) - Nairobi (HKJK) - Enfidha (DTNH) - Casablanca (GMMN) - Marrakesh (GMMX) - Martinique (TFFF) - Hurghada (HEGN) - Male (VRMM) - Keflavik / Iceland (BIKF) - Barbados (TBPB) - Antalya (LTAI) If you feel this conflicts with any of y...

Re: Project schedule
Rhodes might not be needed anymore either, JustSim has released it yesterday. I haven't bought it yet so I don't know how good it is, but if it's a bit good you can scratch that off your list as well.

Re: Some ideas for future add-ons
Kefalinia and Zante Airport would be decent add ons. EFL has not been done I dont think since a Greece airports package which I think was FS9! Zante is a popular airport and a decent scenery was made by Live in FSX but not P3D v4 compatible. Same goes for Kos. Aerosoft Kos X was released in 2010 wh...

Re: FSDG Keflavik (and Iceland)
I've just read that between 2012 and 2017 the number of passengers at Keflavik grew by 202%. No, that's not a typo. I actually said 202 percent. It more than tripled it's passenger numbers in just five years time. That makes it the fastest growing airport in Europe by far, perhaps even the fastest g...

Martinique isn't needed either, TropicalSim has done it in excellent quality. If you want to do anything Caribbean why not go the other way and do Grenada or Barbados or Trinidad and Tobago. Bordeaux is done by FranceVFR. Although not P3D v4 native it does work and they said they'd upgrade all of th...

FSDG website offline?
I was just browsing to FSDG-online.com and I'm being redirected to some store on esellerate. Granted, it sells the FSDG products but the old website with information and such is gone. Will it come back, or at least something similar? This is looking very cheap and insufficient. It certainly doesn't ...

Re: Demo versions for FSDG scenery?
That's not entirely true. Drzewiecki Design also publishes through Aerosoft, but they do give out free demos. Only the texture quality is lower. But every developer should decide that for themselves I think.
