"Haste makes waste" as they say. We couldn't keep the original schedule as we would have had to rush the release and wouldn't've been happy with the result. Most of our time currently goes into XP11 sceneries so the original developments take more time than expected.
Rhodes is quite probable for an August release though.
So in other words, if you wouldn't have done those X-Plane sceneries, you could have done more P3D sceneries.
Personally, I would have preferred that as I got nothing with X-Plane. For me, it's just "the wrong sim" and I ain't interested in it. P3D is the only sim that matters. However, I can see where where the urge to develop for X-Plane comes from as there are people out there that do use it. You have a lot of sceneries that were only for FSX/P3D before and with an X-Plane conversion you can sell that same scenery to new customers that were previously off the radar.
I'm not keeping track, but I would think by now the process of converting your existing FSX/P3D sceneries to X-Plane would be nearly finished. That would mean the extra work that these conversions are causing is nearly done. Personally, I can't wait for the moment it's done because then you can focus on regular development again.
I appreciate you made clear that's your personal feeling (towards X-Plane and P3D). We at FSDG just try to make you guys happy. We had so many XP requests, we had to give in at some point.
You're right that our focus will now shift back to original developments (FSX&P3D). Rhodes, Casablanca, Nairobi, Hurghada and Enfidha are still expected to be released before the end of the year.
Thanks for the update.
For me too, P3D is the only Sim and remembering last June (2018) when I read for the first time your schedule and that an Enfidha Airport is to expect by Novembre 2018, I was hipper excited.
Now I‘m still so waiting for this Airport, but happy to read that you get back to them and I realy hope to see it this year.

Patrick

Not an excuse, but one of the reasons for the delay: The LGRP airport layout has been changed and several buildings were taken down / changed in 2019. We want you to have an up-to-date scenery so we had to completely rework the ground layout and change items like the fire station or light poles.
Honestly an earlier release (with 1 year delay now) would have been more important for most user than an up to date scenery. most people aren't out there at rhodes to compare in live. a later update would have been enough. But it's your decision.
