HOW TO....

Is there a document or video or another source where I can learn how to use each of the tool in the FSDG suite? For example, How do I zoom on the world map? Recently my flights are within a small geographic area and i can barely see a dot where my flights have been and can't find a way to zoom in for more detail. Similarly in the Analyzer, I am not sure of the best way to select the various parameters and to move throughout my flight, so some guidance/examples of recommended settings to evaluate touch and go flights vs mid and long distance flights and vs hand flown or AP flown flights would make the suite much more useful.

The tools are very intuitive to use. Just use the mouse wheel to zoom in the map (or the +/- buttons if you don't have a mouse wheel).
As for the Analyzer, click onto the different parameters to change another one. You can display 2 parameters in each quadrant. Zoom in to see a smaller portion of your flight or make a single click on one of the quadrants to show a high resolution version.

If you enable the startup tips in the Flight Tracker, you will find all important information about the Suite in those tips.

In the world map I used the mouse wheel in an attempt to zoom in and there was no change is the map at all, zero impact by using the +/- keys

Oh, you mean the World Map in the Logbook, sorry my bad. It's only an overview, not an actual map, so you cannot zoom in or move the map.
You can export your files from the Analyzer into kml and view them in detail in any GIS tool like GoogleEarth.

Did you mean you want to compare different flights against each other? That's an interesting idea, but nothing we have on our todo list at the moment.
