Just noticed this scenery was updated to v1.6, but no changelog or info can be found anywhere. Is this now for MSFS2024? What are the changes?

Yes, only change is FS2024 version is included.

Sorry to ask, but was this scenery even beta tested in MSFS2024 before release? I think I've just seen the worst payware scenery for MSFS2024

Well, it needs major work. I think the images speak for themselves. Blurry textures, deforestation, extremely low quality palm trees and underlying aerials, reef textures floating 5-10 meter up in the air many places, grass overgrowth everywhere (even on beaches), cliffs and hills where they're not supposed to be etc. etc.

At this point we only included FS2024 installers for our MSFS sceneries. A complete overhaul of our more than 30 existing MSFS sceneries will take longer, especially with large addons like Seychelles. Just like FS2020 in the beginning, there's still a lot of bugs in the current FS2024 simulator, and we need to wait until a couple more sim updates have arrived until we can really start fixing terrain issues.

Yes, but why not skip the MSFS2024 option in the installer and compatibility in the product page altogether? It will only serve to piss people off. If I had paid nearly 30 EUR for an MSFS2024 scenery like this, I would have requested a refund and never bought anything from this developer again.

So basically that product was sold with the advertised features like Complete custom aerial imagery and Realistic reefs around the islands, and being FS2024 compatible, but those features are not working in FS2024? And as I understand there is no intent to improve this in the forseeable future, correct?

At least I can't get them to work, and the scenery doesn't look like Seychelles at all...

All these features are also included in the FS2024 version.

I think you have a fair point here. I bought Mauritius FIMP, and the scenery is sold as MSFS 2024 compatible but the scenery is almost unplayable in MSFS 2024 at the current stage, you have like stutters every 5 seconds which kills inmersion. FSDG blames the sim itself due to current bugs and so on. It might be the case. But then why they keep seeling as MSFS 2024 compatible? now i am current stuck with a purchase of around 30 EUR in simmarket waiting for an update which who knows how long it will take for optimizing...

Looking into the installed folders I see that there are textures for the islands and reefs, but they are not shown on the scenery in FS2024.

State as it is now, for FS2024 customers who expected to have a lovely, realistic scenery of Seychelles, it just seems like a moneygrab with no support. Sorry to have to be so direct, but one would expect an a bit more elaborate answer from a staff member, especially in the light of bad feedback from various sides.

The scenery should look like this in FS2024. Just took this screenshot in FS2024 myself.
If it does not look like this, please let us know, then we can look into it.

I noticed the ground textures around the Airport look Brownish in winter months (southern hemisphere obviously). Should be green all year round.

Yes, that is an issues we're currently looking into.
