FSDG apt ALT files got there via installation of Djerba recently.. It caused me alert every time P3Dv4 started, so I disabled it in scenery list. Should I then reather deinstall Djerba rather than Heraklion ?

Best if you download and install both again. Make sure to remove that entry completely after you uninstalled both addons.

I unistalled both but I cannot get it out from add-on scenery list (viewed from p3d menu)...
I deleted also manualy from scenery.cfg and add-ons.cfg.... but if I look at the list of add-ons via p3D menu I still see this FSDG apt ALT and also unnamed scenery (path pointing to old directory where FSDG were installed).
Shoud I delete this folder then ? (FSDG and FSDG Heraklion located in Documents/Prepar3D v4 add-ons) ?

I unistalled and deleted all. Downloaded and installed again with previous results (FSDG apt ALT file is again there...). It must be done problem with installers. I bought it and downloaded via Simmarket....

In your User Documents/Prepar3D v4 Add-ons folder you should have folders for all your installed FSDG sceneries plus an "FSDG" folder. All of those should include an add-on.xml file that controls how the addon is added to P3Dv4. Is that the case?

I newly installed Heraklion, indeed, there is the file add-on.xml in this folder

You have to have add-on.xml files in all FSDG folders, most importantly the "FSDG" folder that includes the ALT files. Do you have that add-on.xml file?

after uninstalling all from FSDG and newly downloading and installing FSDG Heraklion the only FSDG folder is in c:...documents/prepar3D v4 add ons/ FSDG Heraklion.
In this folder I can see subfolders : Effects, FSDG Heraklion 1, FSDG Heraklion 2 scenery, FSDG Heraklion 3 LC, SimObjects, and the add-on.xml file which I enclosed in previous post...

I think, something wrong is with installers via Simmarket. There was an issue with Djerba. Now it could be Heraklion... Do not know if others have that ?

If the files are in User Documents/Prepar3D v4 Add-Ons the installer is new so that cannot be the source of the problem. In that folder there should normally be the following folders:

/FSDG/
/FSDG-Heraklion/

The FSDG folder is missing?

indeed, in FSDG Heraklion folder (in userdocuments/P3DV4 addons) there are only :
Effects
FSDG Heraklion 1
FSDG 2 Scenery
FSDG Heraklion 3 LC
SimObjects
add-on.xml file

no other FSDG folder anywhere....

Please send a screenshot of your P3Dv4 Add-Ons folder (the one containing the FSDG-Heraklion folder) to our email support so we can sort it out.

Same issue here for me after a fresh install with newly downloaded v2.1 installer. All files and directories are at place, have not touched any file, directory or xml, have enabled the scenery at first run (asked by P3D), but the problem is there (more than one attempts).

FS Global Ultimate - Next Generation FTX mesh (if relevant)

I have the same issue with Thessaloniki and Kastellorizo as well. Have not used the AFM tool provided by Pilot's (FS Global) which supposedly corrects elevation issues; I'll try to resolve this with you first and see where it goes.
