Seems like a mis-installation problem. If you, for example, un-installed previous versions after installing LGIRv2, then some essential files got deleted. Please re-run the v2 FSDG installer.

Thanks

I would re-install FSDG v2 installer as it is at the moment. You do not need to un-install anything. Just run the v2 installer.

This is an elevation issue, probably caused by a missing file.
After re-installing FSDG v2 installer, check the issue is gone.

If not, please look in the following location for the 'suspect' file:
FS root folder\Scenery\World\Scenery\AFX_LGIR_ALT.bgl

Can you also run a search for duplicate AFD airport files? just run a search for LGIR within the root folder. Other than than, have you got FTXGlobal vector?

Just navigate to the FSX root folder and type LGIR in the search box. Usually AFCAD files will have a prefix similar to AFX/AF2/AFD. If you find any such file outside the FSDG folder, then you should rename that file from *.BGL to *.OFF

I cannot see why FSGlobal2010 and UTX will start creating a problem now, since you had those add-ons installed and they worked fine with the previous version of Heraklion correct?

AFX_LGIR_ALT.bgl at F/flight simulator x/scenery/world/scenery i rename the file from bgl to OFF
but i have the same problem

AFX_LGIR_ALT.bgl is necessary, please turn that on again by renaming to *.BGL
Seems no duplication exists. I would only think FSGlobal2010 could cause some elevation problem, could you please try to in-activate it temporarily from the scenery library and see if this makes any difference? If yes, we can work with that and supply a fix.

Any other add-ons in the area? Greek mesh? anything Greek you can think of?

I cannot see any problems here; i have run out of ideas to be honest. I could only try to delete those 'Heraklion' entries from scenery library and uninstall the product. Then run FSX and see how the default airport looks and check if you see any problem at that region. Then, do a a fresh install by the v2 installer.

Can you also try the following solution?

locate file: (..\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery\UTX_LGIR_EUR.BGL). Deactivate by renaming to *.off

I had the same problem so thanks to the OP and Emil for the solution!

As an FYI to other users of UTX, there is a feature within the UTX configuration tool to do this. There is a menu entry 'Modify Status of Repositioned Airports' which displays a list of the airport elevations that UTX modifies - from the list you can enable/disable by the airports ICAO code...
