[Solved] Flight TAles II

Hi Guys,
I purchased Flight Tales II and the installation was succesful.
But I dont have a compas and the signs in the air where my goal is.
The mission Haevy Crafter starts on the aifield Sion, Switserland and tells me "fly to the target area"
Where is that ?
The mission SPAT tells me to "fly to downtown" so I fly to downtown, and then ?
I see nothing. No Orange or green arrows, no compas in the left top corner.
Whats wrong ?
The standard missions are running well.

You probably have disabled the mission compass and pointer in the FSX settings. Press U to toggle between "no compass&pointer", "compass only" and "compass&pointer".

In SPAT, you should at least see the yellow location markers. Since you don't seem to see them the mission probably doesn't load correctly. If you press ESC, do you see the Mission menu or the Free Flight menu? If you see the Free Flight Menu, please make sure the FTII scenery area is activated in the scenery library.

The U does not work. And i'am flying SPAT on this moment and there is no yellow marker.
When I press the ESC i'm back in de free flight menu. The scenery is active.

I tried the standard mission of FSX "oil rigg" and there works the U button well.

If you have the Free Flight Menu, something went wrong on installation (see manual).

Please reinstall the addon and try again. Make sure you use FSX Gold / Acceleration or FSX:Steam Edition and install the addon as Admininstrator.

Hi Thorsten,
I have only FSX with SP1 & SP2. No Gold, Acceleration , or steam edition.
And SP2 was one of the requirements.

I re-installed FTII now tree times as an administrator.
No results for this moment.

Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately the product description in that external shop is wrong, FTII is only for FSX Gold/Acceleration or FSX:Steam Edition.
It's always up to you where you purchase our addons, but as a developer having just started his new own shop, I'd suggest purchasing from our shop next time. Nonetheless, you should easily get a refund in that other shop if you tell them their product description is wrong.

I would certainly suggest to buy a copy of Acceleration, though. Since your interested in missions, the Acc pack will give you - if not the quality of the FTII missions - at least another big variety of challenging missions and of course those nice, new aircraft like the Merlin helicopter, the F18 or the P-51.
Acceleration can be found at the usual suspect shops for a very good (low!) price these days - and if you only buy it to be able to run the exciting and thrilling FTII missions, I'm sure it'll be worth it!
