Demo versions for FSDG scenery?

Post by Er!k » Tue Dec 04, 2012 8:01 am

Hi FSDG team,

I hope this is the right place to ask, I was wondering if you ever considered to make demo versions of your products. In my opinion this would be a nice addition because:
- you can try the product before you buy (every PC is different nowadays)
- you can easily buy the product afterwards without reinstalling (depending on how you protect the files)
- FSDG gets less questions and more sales?!

I have some good experiences with FSDreamTeam and ImagineSim for example.

Regards,

This is an interesting suggestion, Erik, we have discussed this in the past and will probably do it again in the future. Right now this is not an option though. Our most recent products were distributed by Aerosoft primarily, and Aerosoft almost never does demos.
But like I said, it's something that's in our mind for quite some time already.

That's not entirely true. Drzewiecki Design also publishes through Aerosoft, but they do give out free demos. Only the texture quality is lower. But every developer should decide that for themselves I think.
