LGKF for MSFS installation issue

Good morning people,

I have bought this scenery package from Simmarket. The file seems to run but the scenery is not showing up in the sim.

The notes contained in the file referring to installation do not seem to be helpful.

I have not had this problem before.

Any ideas?

Did you check the content manager if the scenery is displayed there? If not, please run the installer again.

Thnks for the reply. I have already checked the manager, the sccenery was not there,I have tried re-install several times, still no luck, any other options?

If you have downloaded the scenery from SimMarket, here's how you install it:

- download the exe
- run the exe
- as soon as the exe has run, a command window should pop up
- when the command window prompts you to press a key, do so
- the scenery installer should start automatically
- click through the installer and insert the serial number and your name
- make sure the installer finishes without any errors

that's it.

I am able to run the exe, I can complete filling in the fields. When I hit the install button I get the following message:
' FSDG-kefalonia CGL 122 sai011.cgl The system cannot find the path specified.'
The path specified is correct but I keep getting this result.

Sorry to be a pain, I don't usually have these issues.. I have read all the notes, treble checked all the details, still no go.

The exe will unpack the install files into a folder of your choice. Please make sure that in that folder there is a folder called FSDG-Kefalonia, which includes 2 subfolders.
When the installer is started (automatically), it will look for that said cgl file in those subfolders. If for some reason those folders aren't there (or are still zip'ed), the installer will fail.

Ok, I will look into it tomorrow. frankly, it all seems a little over complicated. Sort it out.

It's actually as easy as it can be, since you only need to run the exe, and everything else will happen automatically. We have not had any similar reports yet, so I guess there was some error, maybe with the download or the antivirus program or something like that.

Ok. I will try to uninstall anything to do with this scenery and start over.

To be honest, Im so determined to have this scenery I will buy it again from the MSFS Marketplace. I know the island very well so looking forward to it.

Im fairly certain the issue is at my end so I will keep trying.

Ill let you know how I get on with it.

Good morning, here is the latest from me.
1. I ran the exe and allowed it to load in the documents file in my users file.
2. I went into this folder and ran the SETUP_RUN_FIRST.bat file.
At this point it did everything I had seen before.
3.I then ran the exe file again and after entering the registration code, the file seemed to install completely.

I will now run the sim and see if LGKF shows up.

The scenery has installed.
I will check YouTube for content and leave comments there.
