Some extra details for the FS2004 version?

Hi Thorsten,
I am really impressed by the FSDG/29 Palms HESH scenery!!! FPS are good, textures look beautiful... However, for FSX also some surroundings are captured like a landclass and the hotel area. Is it possible to include some of the surroundings for FS2004? Maybe some hotels?
I really hope so since it would make the FS2004 version even nicer

Since there are limitations for FS9, the developers don't see a way for doing this.
FS2004 is a very old sim, even older than FSX which is 6 years old now, so there some FSX related techniques you cannot use in FS9.

You don't need any special techniques to model some extra buildings.
They are perfectly modelled in other FS9 addon sceneries.
You can model whole cities if you like.
It is a developer's will or not to include it.
In this case I am not optimistic, as it had been requested before and looks like it was not realized.
However, there are always hopes for some future updates.

The problem is, you can't just place some hotels in the area. We tried it and it looked like a big bug. Without photo scenery those hotels don't make any sense. This is why we decided against and use landclass and autogen instead. Note that in default FS9 you only have desert in the area, with the addon you have more or less realistic landclass with autogen.

Can you add the hotels as an optional download? Shouldn't be too hard to convert them from the FSX version?!
