[Xplane11] Mauritius - Strange trees

Hi guys,

Hope you can help me. I've got an issue as per title. The tree models show the trunks much more than the vegetation, creating grey forests.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Our autogen definitions use default tree models. Depending on if you installed an addon which changes these models, your sceneries can look different. There is nothing we can do about that, unfortunately.

Thank you for your answer. I have not seen this problem anywhere else. Do you know if there is a log somewhere were I can see which model tree these are so I can fix it, even if it is not yours?

Another point is that with a Cat III ILS landing (the only landing ive done so far on FIMP, 4 times), every time the plane (ZIBO 738) lands a few meters to the right of the runway centre. Could it be that your runway is a few metres / degrees off, or is it an issue on my side? If my side, any idea where to look? Not having this issue with other airports.

Any news?

For the trees, further investigation revealed some FSDG files that do seem to override the autogen trees. Can I safely remove this to use autogen instead? Or will that break the scenery?

Those are just the tree definitions (polygons).

Our scenery should actually look like this:

So I guess the default tree models / textures have been changed by another addon in your XP setup.
Or maybe you use some seasons tool?

No changed models for trees installed anywhere, and like I said, Mauritius is the only place I am having this issue.

The difference between your and my view is probably just from settings - I'm running with a lot of things on medium to allow max objects.

Tried the runway issue with a different plane to see if it still occurs, for the a350 as well the angle is *just* off when using autoland.

It might be related to settings, but I'm currently out of ideas what you could try to change it.
