Dakar SODE behavior

Post by tsamisg » Thu May 14, 2020 3:30 pm

Hello,

I am experiencing a strange issue with the Dakar (GOBD) SODE jetways. I have installed the scenery, installed v1.1 of the Configurator and v3.1 of the SODE link. I have also unchecked the Use Static Jetways box in the configurator and verified the static jetway file in the scenery is marked as OFF.

My problem is that it's not the actual SODE jetway that docks with my plane but rather a duplicate version of the same jetway which materializes out of the existing jetway.

Any assistance/insight to resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Greg

Do you use GSX? Maybe you have additional jetways placed by a GSX file.

Hello and thank for the reply.

I do use GSXL2 and ORBX LC Africa. I have checked to see if either of these two have placed another GOBD file somewhere, but I do not see one.

Ok, so while writing back I had an idea to try a previous version of the SODE link. Luckily, I found v3 and I ran it and the jetway now works normally.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Regards,

Greg

May you can provide this old version of Sode jetways for GOBD?

I have checked our SODElink and can't find any problems. Can you please post a screenshot of the problem?

Can you please check if you have multiple GOBD files in your 'C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml' folder?

Nope - only one file.

Please disable this file (you can use our config tool -> SODE tab for this). Are the jetways still visible?

If I disable this file, the static jetway is gone an I can dock the jetway. But it´s not positioning correct at the door.

I checked the scenery folder, static jetways are *.off

Ok, found the problem. There were some erratic jetway definitions in our LGRP file (which was only meant to add windsocks for FSDG-Rhodes).
Please download and install our SODElink again (3.1.0.6).
The jetway might still have trouble to attach to the aircraft at that position because of the angles. That's something we currently can't change.
