Reunion Kernelbase.dll crash

I'm having an issue where when I install Reunion, and load up in any plane at FMEE, I get a kernelbase.dll crash either during loading or very shortly after the scenario finishes loading. It's definitely related to the scenery because if I uninstall it, the sim is perfectly stable, and if it's installed, it crashes every single time. Has anyone else had this issue, or is there anything that might be causing this?

Thanks,
Steven

Have you tried re-installing the addon?
Did you use the installer and pre-suggested target location or did you choose another location?
Do you have other addons in the area?
Do you have other FSDG addons?
Do you use AI traffic addons?
Please also try to disable AI traffic to see if that might be the source of the problem.

Yes, I have installed and uninstalled multiple times in both P3d 4.4 and 4.5 now, the issue always happens when installed and never happens when uninstalled.

I installed it in the default location.

I do not have any other addons in Reunion

I do have other FSDG addons, I have Mauritius and Cape Town and both work without issue.

I do not have any AI traffic addons and currently have other aircraft turned off. I do have road and ship traffic turned on, I can try disabling that and I will report back.

Is there anything else I should look into?

AI traffic is often a critical item. Make sure you disable AI aircraft and AI ship traffic. If the crash still occurs please try different times of day and different start locations.

Seems disabling AI ship traffic did fix it, interesting. Thanks for the help!

If AI traffic models that do not exist are called it usually leads to a crash like this. Did you maybe remove simobjects from your P3Dv4, maybe to save disk space or something like that?

Sometimes that crash happens even if the models exist. To be sure please disable the ship traffic bgl in our scenery.
