Please make sure you uninstalled v1.0 and removed the FSDG-Bremen folder before installing the new version.

Hello,

I have also a problem with the Configurator.
Even when i uninstall Bremen en remove the FSDG Bremen folder.
The Configurator activates SODE for all the FSDG sceneries.
I don't have all the FSDG sceneries and want to de-activate SODE for these sceneries..
But when i do that the Configurator shows an error report and freezes.
I've to end it via the Task Manager.
As attachment a screenshot of the configurator at the moment that i de-activate Bangalore.
And this is the error.log

System.IO.IOException: Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError()
at System.IO.File.InternalMove(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.File.Move(String sourceFileName, String destFileName)
at _FSDGScenConfig.Main.Checkbox_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

Thanks for pointing this out. In that case the config tool tries to disable a file that doesn't exist and crashes. We're looking into this.

Thanks for your reaction.
It's no problem for me, the FSDG sceneries i have are working well.
But the freezing of the configurator was a little bit strange.

I have had exactly the same problem and solved it in this way.

I found out that the problem is caused by some "wrong" files in the folder "12bPilot"!

1. Uninstall FSDG-SODE_link.

2. Go to the following folder "C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml".

3. Delete all files related to FSDG's Sceneries with the names " FSDG_SODE_xxxx..."

4. Install FSDG-SODE_link again.

Then everything should work normally again.

Just to make sure we're on the same page here:

If you install our SODE link it will install SODE items for all our FSDG airports (well, for those that offer this service). If you have a scenery for one of those airports from anbother developer (wait, why should you? :hihi: ) it will not match our SODE link additions. In that case you can disable our SODE content for that airport.

If the config tool crashed it's most likely a sign that you did not install the latest SODE link as the tool was looking for a file that did not exist. In that case re-install our SODE link. If everything fails follow the steps mentioned above.
