NUUK Elevation Issues

Post by stagira » Tue Jan 22, 2019 1:21 pm

I am new to the forum and FSDG products. I installed NUUK on P3DV4 and I am having elevation issues at BGGH and BGMQ. I use ORBX but even after deactivating all add-ons, including ORBX, the problem remains. Screenshots attached. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Nuuk includes a realistic mesh for the Nuuk area. Is you use default landclass that can lead to those edges in the vicinity because of the very rough vectors in the default scenery.
The screenshot doesn't suggest a problem at BGGH though. That is how it's supposed to look (2nd image).

Thanks for the reply. I'll accept that BGGH looks as designed. Any suggestions for BGMQ? Is there a product you suggest to replace the default landclass?

One additional information that may help: I have Orbx North America openLC, which I believe replaces the default landclass for Greenland. Thanks again.

I'm not sure if Greenland is included in that addon. You might want to add ftx global to make sure you have realistic land class definitions and vectors (coastlines) all around the globe.
