FACT Cape town SODE jetways and GSX

Post by Skipy » Mon Oct 22, 2018 9:25 pm

Hello,

SODE jetways at FACT are working only via SODE menu. Trying to operate them via GSX (and see people boarding with GSX2) is not working (SODE connexion lost) :-(. Any chance to have a new SODE config wich is compatible with GSX? I also had to "force" GSX FACT settings in order to declare gates with jetways (and so avoid stairs and buses) because GSX doesn't see them.

Regards, Skip.

Can you please replace the attached file in your FSDG-Cape Town/scenery folder and report if GSX works with the new file?

EDIT: hang on...

Hey FSDG, I Love the new Cape Town scenery. But I am still having issues with the SODE jet-ways. Even with this replace file, still no movement with the SODE Jet-ways.

Hi,

Just tried the new AFCAD file (removing my GSX airport customization) and still the same problem: SODE Jetways are not detected at gates by GSX.

Please download our SODE link from our web shop again. We updated the file and think GSX should work now with our SODE jetways.

Hi @ all,

I have also posted in the German forum.
Now I found this, and I have exactly the same problem like here.

I’ve already (today) downloaded the new SODE Link,
but it’s not working via GSX.

Please help.

Best regards
Peter

Hi,

Apologies for what are probably really silly questions, but...

I have uninstalled the static jetways, and have installed the latest SODE documents (using the limited instructions), but they do not appear? GSX does not find, and when I try to SODE through the sim it says the nearest SODE objects are 6km away.

Do you have any clear instructions for installing the SODE link? I'm working with 1.6.3

Otherwise, scenery looks great - been waiting for a good CPT for ages - thanks!!

Cheers, Simon

Please make sure to copy the files to the correct SODE folder. (see readme)
