FSX - Mauritius Airport Night lighting and FSDG CFG

Hi

Purchased Mauritius and Reunion this weekend and couldnt be happier with said purchase.

Only issue I am having is with night lighting at FIMP.

I read the manual where it states that there are night lighting issues with fsx but dont think this has anything to do with that point?

With FMEE and Activesky I had the 3d apron lights showing during the day. Once I deactivated them in the FSDG CFG it fixed that issue. (though FMEP remains the same as the pics below, no option for that airport?)

With FIMP though the FSDG CFG already shows them to be unticked yet the 3d apron light effect still shows up in the scenery? I tick the 3D apron lights but when I close the FSDG cfg and go back in to it the box shows unticked.. (image below)
Is there a way to remove the 3D apron light effect (the cone effect) from FIMP so I prevent the issue in the pics below?

When I first installed FIMP it never gave me the option to untick the 3d apron lights, it was already unticked

The 3D Streetlights though allow me to use or deactivate that option which I do due to it causing the issue above..

Thanks in advance

Flukey

****found the issue****

When I turn fimp_spots_v2.bgl to off my 3d lighting cone deactivates..

Still though even when I make it fimp_spots.bgl like the FMEE file of the same second part to the name it still doesnt show in the FSDG CFG

We cannot see the images you posted. If you want you can include them in your post instead of linking to an image hosting service.

The file affected by the configurator is called "fimp_spots_p3d.bgl".

Changing fimp_spots_v2.bgl to the naming above fixed the FSDG CFG issue

You don't seem to have the latest files. Please re-download the addon and install again. Make sure to remove the old files before installing the new version.

Ok will do, seems strange I dont have the latest version being I only made this purchase/download here at FSDG yesterday..

Thanks for your help :)

BTW when I select the download tab from my order confirmation it downloads, FSDG-Mauritius_v1.1_FSX_P3D.exe is this the correct exe file? (already downloaded and installed)

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't realize that you use the FSX version. Thanks for posting the images here, that helped me sort this. ;-)
There is indeed a small bug in the script that points to a wrong (p3dv4) file instead of the FSX file. Please use the attached xml to fix the issue.

Appreciate it thank you..

BTW it isn't a big issue but I am having the same type of lighting issue at FMEP with regards to 3D light cones and Activesky, can these also be deactivated?

As well as the hangar area between the runways at FMEE

I purchased Reunion from simmarket...

Those effects should only appear at higher zoom levels. I'd suggest to use 0.3-0.6 as zoom level since that gives the most realistic experience on medium and bigger screens.
At FMEP you currently can't disable those effects. I'm not aware of an incompatibility with ActiveSky.
