I had installed the Orbx Australia SP4 and then installed the Ayers Rocks V1 without any problem, the mesh fitted well with Orbx Australia SP4 and the surroundings were desert. But after installing the Version 2 of Ayers Rocks, there were green square patches scattered around the rock in a very big area. How can I solve this problem. Do I need to install all your Version 2 products by the new installer. Please advise.

Have you first uninstalled the previous (v1) version of Ayers Rock?

Can you please post a screenshot of the area?
How did you sort the areas in the scenery library?

Thanks for quick replies.

I uninstalled the Version 1 first before installed the Version 2 but did not use the new installer. The Ayers Rocks is installed well above the Orbx Australia SP4 in the scenery library. Please see the attached photos.

what do you mean by 'not used the new installer'? did you try any sort of manual file transfer?
will install SP4 to see if I get anything similar btw.

Have you tried enabling the 'Hybrid mode' from FTX control panel?

As I have installed the Orbx Australia SP4, I set the Orbx FTX Central to Oceania to install this Version 2.

Nevertheless, I will try to unload and reinstalled at global hybrid mode.

I unstalled the program and reinstalled it by selecting the Orbx FXT Central in hybrid mode. The result is the same as shown in the above photos. Don't know what's the problem.

Does your previous (older installer) version of Ayers Rock work fine with the same setup?

I repeated it is very well for the Version 1 to run on the Orbx Australia SP4.

OK looking into it.

Please copy the textures from the attached zip archive into the FSSG - Ayers Rock X/texture folder and report back what you see in P3D if you use Australia SP4.

Thanks for your reply. I have reinstalled the Version 1 back and everything seems normal, please see the attached photos. BTW I am not using P3D, I use FSX at present. Is your attached file suitable for FSX.

I wouldn't call it normal since it should not include any green patches like those in the screenshot.
Could you please try to make those screenshots a bit larger? It's hard to see anything in them.

Did you copy the texture files into the texture folder? It should work in FSX as well as in P3D.

I have copied all your files into the texture folder of Version 1. The result seems as before. The parking area for GA look like only have shadows and no plane.

I have tried my FTX Central setting to Global hybrid mode and Oceania, both results look the same.

Ah, ok, wrong region definition, that's interesting. Try the attached files (move to Ayers Rock texture folder).

Please only use our V2 version, not the original one. With the new textures it should work with and without AU SP4.

Re-installed Version 2 by setting FTX Central to Oceania, the result seems no improvement. 3 small aircraft are found missing too.

Unfortunately, we get different results here, with AU SP4 as well as without. The Ayers Rock landclass definitions and textures should replace any FTX definition around the airport, as long as FSDG Ayers Rock is above all FTX layers in the scenery library. Can you please show a screenshot of the top of your FSX scenery library?

The scenery library shot is attached. Ayers Rock Version 2 is on the top.

Any other addons that might have changed region definitions or global landclass definitions? For a test it would be good to disable all other addons in the scenery library and see how it looks then.
Do you get those green patches in summer as well as winter?
