Hello,
When I land on the "Excellence" I think the view should change to the boat's control. But I continue in the helicopter, the motor shuts down and the mission-compass keeps signaling to the ship's center. Meanwhile the mission continues without me: I can start the fire extinguisher from the pop-up menu, but I keep seeing everything from the Helicopter. This way it is impossible to accomplish the mission. Am I missing something? Any special key I have to press to switch to the ship?

My system is FSX:SE with EZCA and GSX under Win8.1 64bit.

The Excellence does not feature a virtual cockpit, that's why we decided to stay in outside view (see it as the Excellence's spot view) at that point. You only have to control the movement of the Excellence around the other ship, for that just move your joystick forward and then left to turn, as pointed out by the arrows. The mission should proceed then with more action to come.
