Cabo Verde does not install in P3Dv4.1

Hi,

I tried to install Cabo Verde free version on my Win10/64 system with P3Dv4.1. But whatever I do I just see the awful default scenery. I suppose that the installer is updated to P3Dv4.1.
What is the solution to this problem?

After installation you'll see a popup window asking if the scenery area should be added to P3Dv4. Did you see that window? If not please install the addon again.

Hi Thorsten,
The problem still excists. SAL covered with default bushes and trees.
Here is what I did.

1. My first installation I installed the program in my specified file : Add on Scenery (outside P3Dv4.1 files). That didn't work out and then I posted my question.
2. I uninstalled via the configuration screen the program.
3. I manualy deleted the files in Lorby's add on manager and in \P3Dv4.1 add ons. And rebooted.

4. Second installation.
5. I did run the installer as Admin.
6. I was asked to choose my flightsim at the start of the installation proces and marked : P3Dv4. I installed in the file the installer suggested.
7. In users/Hans/Doc/P3Dv4.1 add ons I find 4 files: FsDg(docs)Cape Verde free, Cape Verde libraries and the uninstall file.
8. In Lorby's add on organizer there are two entries under scenery: CV free and CV libraries.
9. In Lorby's add on organizer/other addons i find: FSDG Cape Verde Libraries/component2 Effects, component 3 Texture.
10.In Lorby's add on organizer /Packages I find CV free and CV libraries again.
11. In the scenery library of P3Dv4.1 both entries are there and active.
12. My settings for P3Dv4.1 are almost the same as recommended in the manual.

But no result! To me it is a mystery.

Cape Verde FREE only covers the southern islands.

GGGRRRR, a kind of stupid of me!

Do you happen to know if there is anymore software around of the (other) Cabo Verde islands.

We just came back from a holiday to Santo Antao and we also have been to Santiago and Sao Nicolau. I love those islands and their inhabitants and now I am looking for the scenery of all islands.

The idea of Cape Verde FREE was to see how big the interest for a full Cape Verde scenery was. At the moment it's not high on our priority list. I think a freeware developer is working on those islands.

Hi Thorsten,
Today I have been flying around those two islands, that was realy beautiful. My compliments for the quality of this scenery.

The only thing I was wondering about was if this scenery was the right material for a test of interest in Cabo Verde scenery.
Because I think Fogo is very specific and doesn't represent the other islands. Most of them are more lush and covered with sharp mountainpeaks.
But I'll say it again that scenery is beautiful with all the rock colors.
By the way you don't know the name of the freeware developer who might be working on a full scale scenery?
