SOde jetways and djerba
hi team
i have a problem with the placement of the aircraft and the jetway, i use gsx, and when i receive the stop from marshaller i can't use the jetway, an error message from sode appear "sode can't operatate at this position". I use an A320
thanks

Re: SOde jetways and djerba
That happens with smaller aircraft on big parkings. You will have to park further back in that case. If GSX does not allow that you would have to edit the AFD file to move the parking or decrease its size.

It s not gsx it s sode
A320 should park on small gate instead of médium?

Just move the plane a bit further back (slew) or try another gate.

Thorsten
is it a joke?
do you think that when i stop my plane at a certain point, i ll start to go back in slew mode to find the correct position where the jetway will connect to the plane
i never see that in other airport with sode...
maybe you should use CTR-J method instead of sode, aerosoft do it

Re: SOde jetways and djerba
We'll look into it to see if it's a general problem occurring with several different aircraft.
Ctrl+j is not an option at this point. We had so many requests to abandon that default and buggy technique and offer SODE/GSX compatibility.
Note that the SODE jetways are not part of the scenery though, it's just a free extra we offer because we like the possibilities SODE and GSX offer.
