Seychelles Runway Heading

Post by JonnyT » Tue Mar 15, 2022 12:36 pm

Is it possible to rotate the airport scenery, the Navigraph data and underlying satellite imagery gives a different runway heading by about 2 degrees from the scenery?

FSIA, the runway heading when using the navigraph data seems to be offset by like 1 degree

Charts say the heading is 125 GEO / 130 MAG. The satellite imagery we acquired forced us to render the runway at 124.43 degrees to match the airport layout in the ortho imagery.
I don't think .6 degrees should cause serious issues, though.

It's okay for visual flying, autoland just about makes it but drifts to the right on rollout. Over 10 miles it does make a noticeable offset, enough to make you question your sanity haha, since its practically the same heading but just not quite..
