Cape Town MSFS

Post by Peter Webber » Wed Jun 30, 2021 5:01 am

Good day. This one slipped by me. I see FACT for MSFS advertised on your site. When was it released? I don't see it advertised on Simmarket yet. Anyway look forward to this one, but I didn't see an announcement. Regards.

To the FSDG developers, "WELL DONE". True to real life...The AI aircraft, Mango,etc...are they static? Great job to your group! Regards.

Those are static models (since there's still a lack of good AI traffic packs for MSFS) - but you can disable them in the config tool.

Good morning

First of all - A HUGE THANK YOU !! for releasing FACT. Superb !! and was an immediate purchase from me.

I have found that there are 2 windsocks on taxiway G2 - see attached.

However, one of them is 180 degrees opposite to what the actual wind is. Can this be corrected ?

Regards

Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate that. ;-)
The windsock is already on the to-do list for the next update.

My pleasure.

Also, check the windsock at taxiway C - similar issue.

Greetings from Cape Town

Hi
Picked up another "anomaly"
B apron - south side. Static vehicles are "hovering" slightly.

Good day
Update for FACT ? Available yet ?

I found another issue with FACT.
I am using the G1000 NXi which now has "Automatic CDI switching/slewing for ILS approaches".
When loading an approach - eg. ILS RWY 19 the ILS frequency does not appear. It happens for both runways 01 and 19.

To test - I uninstalled FSDG FACT and tested with stock MSFS FACT and it works perfectly.
Could you please investigate the issue. Thank you.

We'll look into it. The release of the update was delayed because we need to check if it works after all the latest MSFS updates.

Unfortunately, the Marketplace team is a bit behind schedule. We hope they will advance our updated sceneries soon.
The Content Manager doesn't offer automatic updates or any automatic indication of not-up-to-date sceneries. We have no influence on that.
Our website always shows the latest version numbers, but it always takes some time until these reach the Marketplace / Content Manager.
