Prepar3D v5 compatibility - LGTS, LGRP, LGIR

Post by rm2242 » Wed Apr 15, 2020 11:06 am

Hi Team

I refuse to move over to the new sim until your sceneries work in it (they are my favourite!!!!) - LGTS, LGRP and LGIR specifically.

Any chance you could let us know what your plans are? Do you intend on releasing new installers/needing to make updates?

Thanks a lot team. Keep up the great work!

Rob

All our P3Dv4.4 or P3Dv4.5 compatible sceneries are already v5 compatible. Of course the installers are not able to automatically install them into P3Dv5 yet.
We will update our installers in the next couple of weeks so you can use them in v5 without having to purchase any upgrade.

In fact quick update for you in case its helpful - LGIR and LGTS appeared to work great (I just copied the FSDG folders across to the new P3Dv5 folder in My Documents). However LGRP has issues with default taxiway and runway textures bleeding through (depending upon angle of camera - keeps flashing between FSDG textures and default ones).

I will now cease being impatient and wait for the updated installers.

Cheers, Rob

On oldorders.fsdg-online.com there is old installers for P3D4. Should they updated?

Rhodes is already updated.

We will not continue support for Heraklion and Thessaloniki.
