SODE Jetways!

Post by horst18519 » Fri Aug 25, 2017 2:22 pm

In case you missed it: Our newest sceneries are now compatible with SODE. You can now dock up to 3 jetways to your A380 or B747 at FIMP (Mauritius) or FMEE (Reunion)!

And the best part: It's free!

Hi,

Purchased Mauritius and congrats for the job, its a very good scenery.

However, i cannot get the Jetway to work. They even did not appear after unchecking in scenery configurator.

Please find below steps undertaken:-

1. Uncheck Static Jetways in Configurator
2. Copy and paste the 2 Sode folders (SimObjects) and (xml) in root folder C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE
2a. Other content of this root folder are : -
data
P3Dv3
P3Dv4
SimObjectAnimationModule.dll
SimObjectAnimationModule64.dll
SimObjectDisplayEngine
SODEPlatformManager

3. SODE Platform Manager 1.5.3 Registered and Active for Both FSX and Prepare3D v4. Highlighted Green.
4. Run Prepare3d v4 and test SODE module DLL = Green MSG appear = [SODE] JETWAY CONTROL SYSTEM is up and running(N=0)! Module Version 1.5.3

Maybe i missed a step as the Jetways dont show up.

Please advise.

Thanks and Regards.
David Milate.

The content of the downloaded zip needs to go to C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE. That is where the SODE content is stored. The folder you mentioned is the SODE install folder. It's a bit confusing, but the SODE developer chose to do it this way.
