Fsdg and SimsSkunks works TF-104

Hello ,

I have purchased SimsSkunks works TF-104 and it seems there is an issue with one entry in this file : fsdg-glx_aa
Inside this folder there is a Visual effects lib. and into that there is another entry : Smoke.spb !

Whenever i try to load and fly with the TF-104 there is Smoke around the Aircraft !!!

If i disable : ( Smoke.spb.off ) then the smoke dissapears !

My question is : Am i losing any Visual effects from your sceneries ( I own all of them ) for my MSFS2020 ?

Do you mean the file EngineSmoke.spb? It could be that the F104 has a file with exactly the same name. Can you check that?

I am sorry i wasn't clear . Yes i meant : EngineSmoke.spb

I just checked and there is a folder in my F-104 and into Visual Effects Libs folder : f104-exhaust-smoke

In this folder there is an spb : F104 Exhaust.spb and also F104 Exhaust_edition.spb !

Most probably one of them is in conflict with fsdg : EngineSmoke.spb

Strange... Maybe there is another file with the same name from another add-on? But the file is used for some smoke effects from the chimneys so disabling the file does not harm that much...

Good to know ! Do you know which of your Msfs2020 Sceneries will be affected ? ( I own all of them )

In this case only the Landmarks are affected. Every scenery comes with their own files.

That endinesmoke.spb indeed should not be in our folder. It's a default file and part of the SDK example files. We used it to build our custom effects on, but we should note have released that file. Simply remove it from our folder and everything should be fine.

Please download our new Landmarks of Germany - Baden-Wuerttemberg pack (v1.3). It should remove the wrong fx file. (Please uninstall previous version first and make sure the fsdg-glx_aa folder is completely removed before re-installing.)

The main focus right now is new developments, like Accra, Sylt or the Landmarks of Germany series.
We'll release some conversions later this year, though. We just haven't decided which ones to do first.

One last question :
Regarding Casablanca GMMN and Marsa Alam HEMA . They are both available for Msfs2020 (from other developers ) .
I definitely want to wait for your Versions for my Msfsf2020 !
Are you planning to have them available some time in the future ?

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, it's about time we release a GMMN scenery for MSFS (that's better than those already available). It will take a few months though, as we need to update our existing models.
