Fiji - Pacific region?

A few years back I remember seeing Fiji as one of the places FSDG had asked the community about amongst a range of others on your facebook page..

Was or is there any interest in this location for the future being that the Pacific region within the flightsim world has drastically grown over time?

Yes, Fiji is pretty high on our list. It's a huge amount of work though as it probably doesn't make sense to just include that one island - and even that is quite big.

Sooo glad to hear Fiji is high on your list!!! I love Fiji and visit every year. Yes, you are right it would not make sense to only do Nadi on its own. It would be fantastic to have all the islands included.

Finally!!! someone is going to do Fiji and I know you guys do quality work, so I am looking forward to it very much!!!

I have a collection of images that may be of help? collected them from the net when OZx was still running as a thought of maybe having a crack at this with a couple of other developers..

Anything might be helpful. We usually visit the airports ourselves, but (living in Europe) Fiji might be a bit difficult, even these days.

Sure, Thorsten Next time I am there I will take as many pics as I can and send them to you. I usually go there each year (I live in New Zealand, so its only a 2.5 hour flight from here) I hope to go again in August/September this year.
