Scenery Configurator Error - Mauritius

Post by David Milate » Mon Oct 09, 2017 3:14 pm

Hi,

Getting this error message when trying to deselect 3D Streetlights in Mauritius Scenery.
Problem started when updating to new installer. Both the scenery and the configurator.
Was Ok Before.
The Issue is only with the 3D streetlights Selection. All Other options tick and untick correctly.

System.IO.IOException: Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError()
at System.IO.File.InternalMove(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.File.Move(String sourceFileName, String destFileName)
at _FSDGScenConfig.Main.Checkbox_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

Please advise.
Thanks

You probably installed the new version in the same place as the old one without removing the previous version - or something similar went wrong that left one of the two mau_streetlights_* files as bgl when the option was "off" in the configurator. The tool then wants to rename the bgl to off but that file already exists. Please check if you have a streetlights file that exists as off and bgl and delete the wrong one before starting the config tool again.
