Hi Guys,
Just installingbmy collection into V5.
For some reason the FSDG folder which contains the scenery ALT files is failing to install.
No idea why so on booting the sim i am getting an unload warning as the xml file says it should be there.
I have tried both Cape Town and Ayers Rock.
Both installs failed to install the scenery folder inside the FSDG folder.
The scenery itself seems ok other than missing if required ALT files.
The big issue is on each start the sim asking to unload the FSDG scenery folder.
Ideas?

That message can appear if you only installed Ayers Rock. The scenery does not include an ALT file, but the add-on.xml file is still installed. That's a bug we need to fix.
Cape Town includes an ALT file, though - so as soon as you install Cape Town, this error message should be gone.

I have now tried Capetown and Durban as well and neither are creating a Scenery folder nor is the FSDG config tool being created on installs.
Installs are being down as Administrator.
Ant virus off..

Theoretically, it's possible to install our addons in v4 as well as v5 - as long as you make sure you use different install folders.
That can be a source of errors though.

Can i simply copy the FSDG folder from my P3DV4 documents addon folder to the V5 addons folderto get the alt corrections and the fsdg config tool?

'Yes' to the FSDG folder and the ALT files.
The config tool needs to be installed in a different location. Just like the actual sceneries, there are differences between the v4 and v5 files. You need to keep separate folders for your FSDG addons for P3Dv4 and P3Dv5. (For example 'C:/My_FSDG_P3Dv4_Addons' and 'C:/My_FSDG_P3Dv5_Addons'). Install the config tool (P3Dv4 and P3Dv5) in both those locations to make sure it works for v4 and v5.
