LGIR v2 - Prepar3D v2.5

Post by CrazyD » Tue Sep 01, 2015 6:25 pm

Hi team,
Check the screenshot below regarding the airport column lighting which seems to be inverted

Moreover, it seems that the 3D lighting in surrounding areas and over major roads are positioned higher than normal

Maybe it's related to my UTXEuropev2 installation?!

Thanks,
Nektarios

The 3d lights city issue is definitely related to UTX, as we do not have any 3d lights ourselves. Although I think the height of those lights seems ok. This elevation value is preset in UTX and is always relative to ground. So it should always be the same regardless of the region and/or add-on scenery.

Regarding the FX issue, unfortunately some effects are not rendered correctly in P3D, not much we can do about this yet.

I can supply you with a file that replaces those lamps and removes the fx if you'd like.

Thanks Emilios for your prompt reply.
The 3D lighting was indeed from the UTXEurope side.
I deactivated the effect via their configuration app.
That fix will be nice...

no problem.
grab the attached zip and extract that .BGL file somewhere. Drop the .BGL into

P3DRootFolder\FSDG\FSDG-Heraklion\FSDG-Heraklion_1\scenery

Then, you need to de-activate the original file. So, just rename LGIR_ElementsLib.BGL to LGIR_ElementsLib.OFF.
Now, the active file is LGIR_ElementsLib_nofx.BGL where the effects are removed.
