Now this should come as a bit of a surprise to all of you. We were working on a scenery of the Seychelles lately, and we're only days from the release!

A bit of information on this project:

The scenery addon will cover the whole Seychelles with all (!) islands and airports - tere's quite a bunch of both.

Right now, our plans are for FSX/P3D only, no FS9.

Features:

- Complex scenery including the whole Seychelles
- All islands and airports included
- Detailed scenery of Mahe International Airport (FSIA)
- Detailed scenery of Praslin Airport and 14 more airfields
- Photorealistic ground and water textures
- Custom autogen models and buildings
- High density vegetation and autogen
- High resolution textures with baked shadows and lights
- Volumetric light and new bloom light effects
- 3D night lighting
- High resolution mesh for all islands
- Animated realistic ground traffic (airport service and passenger vehicles)
- Realistic AI ship and aircraft traffic with custom schedules
- Custom AI Twin Otter model "Air Seychelles" included
- Animated wildlife (birds, turtles, seagulls,...)
- Performance-friendly scenery with very high framerates
- Pre-saved free flights with diverse flight and weather scenarios included
- Geocache mission included, featuring 50 geocaches across the Seychelles
- AES compatibility applicable
- Manual and Overview map included

Release might even be within this month.

This is just excellent! Seychelles has often been overlooked by Flight Sim developers however now it seems to have caught the eye of the best scenery producer for FSX. I'm overjoyed, and I'll certainly be purchasing this from the second it's made available!

Will this Seychelles be compatible with and incorporate any new features of Prepar 3d version 2 available in a few Days with regards to shadows etc?

Beyond brilliant! Just a question: the Air Seychelles Twin Otter in the last preview image, is that an AI model, or a a livery from the Twin Otter original, or perhaps from the latest Twin Otter Extended? Thanks in advance

We can only answer the P3D V2 question after having tested this thoroughly, but we don't expect an issues, as the new P3D should be able to handle sceneries created for the old version.

The Twin Otter model is the old Aerosoft Twotter, so with the new version, it should look even better. The livery can be downloaded from the Aerosoft forums.
We included a custom AI model of the Twin Otter 300 with the add-on and created 2 Air Seychelles liveries - but FSX AI aircraft usually don't bank this much. :D
