The rumour has been out, now it's time for some official proof Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup. Early in development, but with quick progress. Enjoy! Attachment:

OMG!!! Fantastic! What part of the airport is modeled here? Is that part of the 'old' terminal, or? I'm not THAT known of the airport... Although I live in Copenhagen, hehe! Hope to get some images of the terminals soon... Is a release this year possible? Thanks for the pics... looks awesome!

You are looking that southern part of the airport site, where most maintenance hangars would be. It is rather early to accurately predict a possible release date, but you' ll know more as we progress.

My favourites here are actually CRJs, you see them all over the place in CPH, they're fast and nice, fly economically and can reach pretty much every airport in Europe from Copenhagen. But of course you can also fly your favourite Airbus or even B747-400s, which can be seen regularly as well here. We hope to make a christmas release, but you can never tell with these big projects.

I really like the detail of the hangars in the rather "remote" southern part of the airport (near the tower ) And if I am not completely wrong the hangar on the first picture, is the one which belongs to M. Goldsmith Aviation. Well done Thorsten! Quick question: Are these pics all from the FSX version?

Indeed! If this amount of detail, is going to reflect the rest of the airport I REALLY look forward to seeing the apron and terminal areas - not to mention the front of terminal and Terminal 3 and the Hilton hotel etc... Very nice...

Very nice... Well this is supposed to be the 'less' detailed section of the airport The level of detail will progressively increase as we move towards the core buildings of the airport. Always keeping a close eye at performance of course.

What about "Magleby" and the "Vilhelm Lauritzen Terminal" ? Haha, I am so curious It is so difficult to wait

I assume, that the "GO" terminal will be modeled... All buildings which are within the airport perimeter would be included, I guess... (I could be wrong, though)... I don't know, if anything outside the airport fence will come along... Would be nice with some photoreal textures of Amager, also!

What about "Magleby" and the "Vilhelm Lauritzen Terminal" ? Haha, I am so curious It is so difficult to wait I believe that, but it is also so difficult to model, because - like you mention - the airport is complex and sometimes tricky. Not like those new glass and steel airports created from scratch. On CPH, 90 years of development come together, and you can see (almost) every decade and its parts up to this day, of course also the current decade with the new CPHgo Terminal.

Hi Thorsten...I was just about to reply to the previous post, before your post appeared Great timing. The areas I mentioned aren't outside the airport actually. Take a look at the picture (link) (forget about the Go Termine, you answered that ). Then again there must be some balance of what to incorporate and what not, since the airport (in itself) is quite a piece of work.
