FACT was my first FSDG addon and after installation, I had the same issue as OP described. I went through the entire installation and found the add-on.xml located at \Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\FSDG contained some bogus generic path and not the actual path to the sim. No amount of re-installation...

If you are having the same issue I had. The problem is with one of the addon.xml files (I think its the FSDG-Apt ALT files xml). The installer is putting an incorrect path in that xml and the sim cant read it, if you find the xml and correct the path, the sim will load. Btw, for me, this happened wi...
